Every year at this time, I take advantage of the quieter days offered by the festive season to do my annual review.
Taking stock of what I've accomplished is essential for me.
It's a moment I look forward to and appreciate...
It lets me know if I'm still on track with my personal and professional goals.
Bringing out the positive, of course, but also the negative and the unmentionable... Sometimes
So here I am, comfortably seated on my sofa, my cup of earl grey tea with blueberry flowers on the coffee table, notepad and pen in hand.
Inspiration has been a long time coming, but it's here, so let's make the most of it before it slips away.
So here goes my year in review!
To begin with, if I had to sum up this year in one sentence, what would it be?
A plethora of quotes came to mind, so I chose this one.
"Whatever you dream of undertaking, start it.
Boldness has genius, power, magic." (Goethe)
2024... A year dedicated to the "Positive attitude"...
WAOUH and PLOUF in 2024
THE WAOUH...
- First step on the podium for my WAOUH of this year 2024, goes to private training for couples.
It took me a while to establish myself in this field, as I don't have the aura of the great tantric gurus, but fortunately I have a propensity for optimism and my perseverance paid off in the end.
More and more couples trust me to accompany them as they learn this unique touch, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.
It's a privilege to pass on my passion for this unique massage, but it's also a wonderful opportunity to satisfy my taste for others and human adventure.
I love these encounters.
They're unique to me and make me feel fulfilled...
Each session, each encounter is unique in its sensitivity, its emotions, its diversity and its intensity...
A prism, you may ask?
Perhaps... but it's very real in the moment.
One thing's for sure, nothing is more satisfying for me than to experience these unique moments with you.
For that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
- The second step of the podium and I'm the first to be surprised by this (as long as it lasts), goes to futon massages.
Apart from the fact that they saved my ass this summer, when I was suffering from psoas tendonitis and standing around the table was a real pain, I found that futon massage clients turned out to be less enterprising than they had been when I started out.
The reframing was constant, and I even had to stop a session once. I ended up removing them from the card.
I reintroduced them in November 2023 and I don't regret it.
I'd like to thank all my customers for their respectful attitude.
- Third place goes to one of the institute's classics, "Taoist lingam massage".
Added to the massage menu in November 2018, this is the institute's most reserved treatment.
In 2025, combined with other sexo-body techniques, it could be incorporated into the Sexo Tantra sessions I offer to gentlemen suffering from erectile problems or premature ejaculation.
PLOUF... AND WHAT IT MEANS TO ME
On the top step of the podiumI place without hesitation " tantric massage training workshops".
A real fiasco!
I was expecting the "WAOUH" effect, but what I got was the "PLOUF" effect.
I'd had high hopes for these weekend workshops at what I thought were reasonable prices (90€ for the day and 160€ for the weekend), but this time my propensity for optimism came to nothing, and I had a rather rude awakening.
With late cancellations and dates no longer convenient, 5 days before the 1st workshop only 4 people remained, and the same number for the second workshop, which I organized 2 months later.
4 people out of the 8 or 10 we'd hoped for isn't much...
Financially speaking, with the income generated barely covering expenses, we were far from the mark. Not to mention the energy expended and time wasted.
So I'm no longer offering workshops.
There's no point in sending me e-mails on the subject, I don't answer them.
When I see Tantra workshop organizers on Facebook offering places at a lower rate, following cancellations a few days beforehand, if not at the last minute, I realize how difficult it is to organize group training sessions.
Organizing workshops, or even worse, training courses, is clearly not for me.
On the second step of the podiumwe find Sunday opening.
Another brilliant idea I've had 
! (I outdid myself this year...)
In October, like every year, I return to my winter hours and close the institute at 6pm instead of 7pm.
I live 350 meters from the show, so I walk there and back.
In winter I don't like to leave when the shops around me are closed, so I close early.
However, for those who can't get here before 6pm on weekdays, I've decided to open at weekends.
I was soon disillusioned...
While Saturday customers don't pose a problem, Sunday customers are quite a different matter.
Freedom with schedules, wandering hands and constant reframing are, it seems, the price you pay for opening on Sundays...
Sorry, but I've got better things to do on Sundays than put up with disrespectful little princes who think the sun rises at their navels and sets at their asses, so from now on the institute is closed again on Sundays.
No other Plouf deserves a place on the podium.
Several things to improve, but nothing worth mentioning.
We've had a lot of great experiences, and we have many projects to bring to fruition at the end of this year, which ends on a positive note thanks to you, your encouragement and your loyalty.
