At its core, Tantric massage is a powerful path of awakening, whose ultimate goal is to experience union within all polarities: masculine and feminine, consciousness and form, spirituality and sexuality.
One of the basic practices of Tantra is to honor Shiva and Shakti, the energies (masculine and feminine), as the two universal guiding principles of our existence.
Shiva is consciousness and pure awareness, and Shakti is manifestation or form.
When these two universal energies are in balance, we move through life and our relationships with harmony and fluidity.
Women possess slightly more Shakti (or feminine) qualities, and men possess slightly more Shiva (or masculine) qualities.
Like Jung's theory of animus and anima, we have both qualities within us.

In Tantra, Lingam is the Sanskrit word for the male sexual organ.
In Tantra, the Lingam is honored and respected. It symbolizes the divine male force or Shiva.
Yoni is the Sanskrit word for the female sexual organ, and the translation of the word means "Sacred Space".
The Yoni encompasses the entire female sexual organ, from the outside of the vagina to the ovaries and uterus.
The Yoni is honored and respected as the source of creation and manifestation of life itself.
It is the ultimate representation of the divine feminine force or Shakti.
How does Tantric massage differ from traditional massage?
Tantric massage, unlike traditional relaxation massage, is a whole-body massage, including both male and female genitalia.
The fact that the person being massaged is naked induces long, fluid movements, enabling deep relaxation and total abandonment.
But the aim of Tantric massage is not to achieve orgasm, even if the experience itself is highly pleasurable.
The intention is to release sexual energy and redirect it so that sexual pleasure is felt throughout the body, not just in the genitals.
